2012-11-09Gold to JämtlandThe largest annual event to celebrate companies in Jämtland was this year opened by the Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. 2012-04-24Scandinavië markt was an unexpected successWe laid out our information brochures about moving to Jämtland on the little table we ordered by the organizers. Next to us were two other exhibitors, one retailer of children's cutlery and one seller of purses made of elk leather. Outside the rain was pouring down. 2012-03-01Midscand promoted Jämtland as a data centre location during a trip to the US.During two weeks in February Calle Suwe from Midscand and Jan Roth from the municipality of Östersund took part in a delegation organized by Invest Sweden. We attended ISPO for the first time as curious visitors and the second one as experienced exhibitors (even though it was the first time for me). All the speakers had long and interesting experiences from the big country in the east that they shared with us. 2011-06-01Our new web pageMy first mission as the information manager at Midscand was to set up a new communication strategy including a new web site. The process started on my third day of work and I can without exaggerations say that I was confused.
