Large cities and tourism municipalities
New businesses are growing rapidly in major cities and in tourist municipalities.- It is especially Stockholm, where one of five newly started companies is to be found. Local tourism accounts for only 2.9 percent of the country's new business, but is the reason why municipalities outside the metropolitan areas are growing the fastest, says Mats Evergreen Branch.
- Härjedalen, one of the larger municipalities to the surface with tourist cities such as Vemdalen and Funäsfjällen is growing most rapidly among tourism municipalities and has climbed sharply in the rankings in recent years, continues Mats Evergreen Branch.
