Events
Events are also of the utmost importance when “selling” the province, and are well worth long-term focusing. Information should be spread to let people know that Jämtland is a place of various and many “happenings”.
Events, arranged by different organisations, stretch from small local events to larger events with international interest. The region has a long history of arranging sports events, although nowadays there are almost as many culture events carried out.
