Jämtland/Härjedalen offers a variation of activities. Large-scale or small-scale adventures, and always easily adapted after preference. Not all of us appreciate adventurous experiences or extreme sports on our holidays, but there is currently a definite trend showing that more and more people do. For many visitors both, for those on business and pleasure, the main purpose with the journey is to gain new experiences and be active.
Traditional hiking in the mountains is the most popular activity in the region during the summer months.
